Finger Buugeng - LED

The Finger Buugeng began with a simple question:

What if you could experience the flow of Buugeng anywhere?

Traditional Buugeng are beautiful, but they're large, require plenty of space, and aren't something you can easily carry for long periods. I wanted to create a prop that captured the same feeling of movement and expression in a form you could take with you anywhere.

From the beginning, the design was driven by two key principles. First, it had to be lightweight and compact enough to carry with you on a five-day festival — without ever becoming a burden. Second, it had to allow you to flow almost anywhere, without needing a large open performance space.

What emerged was far more than a miniature Buugeng.

Marker

A prop that's lightweight enough to take everywhere. Compact enough to flow on the sofa. Agile enough to suit everything from slow, expressive movement to fast, technical sequences. Yet Visually powerful enough to command attention on stage.

One of the most unexpected discoveries came after hundreds of hours of use. Because they're so lightweight and effortless to handle, I found myself picking them up almost anywhere and flowing for hours without fatigue. For me, that has been incredibly valuable. As someone with ADHD, having a creative outlet that's always within reach has made it much easier to channel restless energy, focus my mind, and enter a state of flow.

The Finger Buugeng isn't designed to replace traditional Buugeng—it complements them. It's a prop that removes barriers, making flow more accessible, more spontaneous, and something you can enjoy whenever inspiration strikes.
