Repairable by Design
At Alpha Kilo Victor, we believe products should be Repaired, not replaced.
Where practical, we design our products with modular, user-serviceable components to minimise waste, reduce downtime, and avoid unnecessary international shipping.
For selected components, we will provide free open-source 3D printable files, allowing customers to manufacture replacement parts locally using a 3D printer or a local printing service. This approach enables many repairs to be completed quickly and economically without the need to return the entire product.
Not every component is suitable for home manufacture, particularly those requiring specialist materials, electronics, or precision assembly. However, wherever possible, we are committed to making replacement parts accessible and straightforward to obtain.
Our goal is simple: keep your products in use for as long as possible while reducing environmental impact and unnecessary shipping.
